Laurie Ellington is an Open Relationship, Polyamory, and Intimacy Coach (https://poly-coach.com/) with over 20 years of experience in the healing arts. Her teaching is deeply rooted in authenticity, compassion, self-empowerment, and self-expression.
Laurie has been practicing ethical non-monogamy for the past 8 years. Through this way of living and loving, along with extensive learning of Internal Family Systems, she learned how to identify and embrace both the shadow and the light within herself with more compassion and grace. It is her belief that we cannot be fully whole until we allow each of our parts to be seen, heard, and validated. Our parts need to know that they are safe. That’s the only way they can truly heal.
Laurie lives in Austin, TX. She is an avid dancer, meditator, and lover of nature. She has two amazing partners and enjoys her solo time as well. When she’s not coaching, or learning more about the intricacies of human behavior, she’s scheming up ways to create more sex-positive events with colleagues and friends. Her mission is to help people feel more confident in themselves, more pleasure in their bodies, and more intimacy in their lives.
