Anna Beeman is a peer counselor, relationship wizard, and healer who helps people embrace their imperfections and humanness to create lasting intimacy and connection.
She spent much of her youth and adulthood in being a professional “care-er” running a daycare, working as a teacher, being a mother, wife, daughter, and later a personal care aide.
She has learned from every experience, from teaching the young to caring for the old. Teaching children shone a light on the innate qualities and emotions that all people possess and how our personalities form. While her work with the elderly informed her about the miseducation, loneliness, and regret that many people are burdened with as they come toward the end of their lives.
Her creation, Colorful Advice, manifested after she experienced a void of support for folx seeking healthy relationships with themselves and others, as well as those seeking alternative lifestyles. Embarking on the journey to create what she most needed, she shares her lived experience, learned techniques, and referrals to resources that have provided for her.
After years of observing and counseling people she has come to this conclusion: That our greatest power lies in our authenticity, in being radically and often unapologetically yourself.
